I don't know whether I'm more connected with my feminine or my masculine side,
but that doesn't matter.
Hi everyone! Welcome! This is the first video of season 3.
Well, during this long break, I took some time
to visit
a few gay dating sites.
There is something that really irritates me
in these networks.
I found a lot of profiles -and I thought it was only in Ecuador-
in which gay men say, for example: "I like to have fun with serious guys"
So I think to myself:
Aren't serious and fun
opposites?
I know that what most of them mean by serious is masculine.
I mean, okay,
for a potential hook up or boyfriend
everyone has their preferences,
but that doesn't give you the right to discriminate people.
And that's the problem, because you find ads like:
"Fairies, don't lose your time",
"no effeminate guys"
"no flamboyant", and stuff like that. And these people claim
feminine gays give a bad image, a wrong idea about
homosexuality and that that's why discrimination exists. Their excuse is:
"I'm a man into men,
not into someone wanting to become a woman". And personally, I know and I assume
I'm kinda flamboyant.
But I don't feel
I would like to become a woman someday.
I mean, I like my biological sex.
But there is something I know, and it's that everyone, both men and women have
a masculine side and a feminine side.
And I
try to balance these two sides. And that's the cool thing about being gay,
because you can balance
both sides. This is my personal equilibrium, what I think
is okay for me.
Some people are more connected
to their feminine side, others to their masculine side and
it's a personal thing.
We should get rid of these stereotypes
that make us think we must behave in a certain way. That you can't
do certain things because you are a man or you can't do other things because you are a woman.
That's something humans invented.
Something that is not in human nature. So this discrimination (within the LGBT community) doesn't only go towards
feminine guys
but it spreads to more people in the community.
I mean people that belongs to other communities as well, like
afroamericans, indigenous,
fat,
skinny,
people with ***. So I call you guys up to
stop discrimination in our
community,
to stop hurting each other, to put aside prejudice
and stereotypes. And to come together and be stronger
as a community and defend our rights.
Please comment below. Thank you guys.
Hugs! And see you soon. Bye!
But that doesn't give you the right to DEScriminate. DEScr...?
Because I wanted to find
people who might subscribe to my channel,
who might be interested in watching my videos.
