Are there some debts that are non-dischargeable in a
bankruptcy? Hi. My name is Eric Engel. I'm a Seattle bankruptcy
attorney with the Engel Law Group. Non-dischargeable means
that you can't get away with not having to pay that debt in a
bankruptcy. There are four broad categories of debt that you
cannot discharge in a bankruptcy. Generally, student
loans can't be discharged. Two: debts that arise from a
separation agreement in a divorce can't be discharged in a
Chapter 7, but probably are dischargeable in a Chapter 13
bankruptcy. Three: taxes. And finally, liabilities associated
with a DUI. Why do you need to know this? You need to know
because you have questions regarding what sort of debts you
can discharge and what debts you can't. We deal with these sorts
of issues every day. We can help you. Give us a call at

nice day.
