Hey guys, Tetsamaru here and right now I am at the Deviantmeet slash......
Might as well call it the tablet convention because everything here is pretty much based around drawing and tablets.
And you know what?
I almost wish I did not come here because this makes me want to spend money on a new tablet.
I've had my tablet for around...I dunno, 5 or 6 years. It's about time I upgraded to a new tablet, and this makes me want to spend money on a new tablet.
I don't have a thousand $ lying around to get a new tablet though.
Also.....
Alot of pressure to actually draw in front of everybody else.
Don't think I can do that.
I'm a very slow drawer as well so....that's one of the reasons you guys have never seen me stream myself actually drawing.
Got a decent tablet, but... it's not these 1000$ or 2000$ tablets they're toting around this place.
Makes me want it...I WANT IT.
It was going to be boring just watching me kinda walk around the actual place before.....
I was actually looking looking, but now I guess I'll give you guys a brief tour of the place.
If this video seems shaky, it's because I did not bring my tripod. I have NO idea why I didn't bring my tripod, should have brought my tripod, did not bring it.
I'm not going to go back for it though soo....you guys will have to deal with this very shaky camera.
That's fine because I'm not going to be standing around for very much longer...so let's walk around.
And that was just a very short tour of the.....
Convention...as it was.
Different sections to it, there's the Deviantart section, there's the CAVE...Well I guess this entire thing is CAVE but I'm just gonna go ahead and call them sections.
There's even a section for the Surface.
Windows 8 Tablet.
What can I say, they don't really discriminate.
There's a number of different manufacturers of tablets here. Most of it all Wacom tablets.
Windows 8, Android, Macs. For the most part, Sketchbook seems to be king here.
I've used Sketchbook quite alot myself.
I'm probably still gonna use Sai, but this makes me want to try using Sketchbook again, just to see if I would like it.
But probably might still stick with Sai Paintool. And then I tend to finish up in Photoshop.
But I gotta admit, after seeing everybody else here draw, this reminds me of how painfully slow I draw.
I've had a couple of chances to actually....put myself basically on the line and draw in front of everyone.
Did not do it because I don't know how fast I could actually draw and make something presentable.
But at the same time though, I've seen alot of people here do it and they're not afraid to put themselves on the line.
