Joe Danger has seen his stock skyrocket since his first outing. Before, he was just a daredevil,
ready to turn death defying thrills into cash. Now he is on set for a huge movie as the key
stuntman and Joe has brought with him is willingness to do anything.
The game will have Joe Danger going all over the world to different movie sets in-order
to capture the perfect scene. This includes skiing down frozen mountains, racing through
city streets and even risking it all against dinosaurs. Each level does what it can to
make it feel fresh and different while also retaining enough that they feel easily accessible.
The way Joe Danger plays is where you will find endless entertainment. It’s kinda like
a combination of a collect-a-thon and a racing game, which I know for one would make me excited.
Joe needs to race across the action sets, performing stunts and making it to the finish
line as fast as he can. I mean, come on, when was the last time you saw a slow action scene?
But you have to stay alert, because there are explosions, pits-of-death, falling trees,
and other things that will put an end to the scene. There are also goals for the scene,
things you have to accomplish such as stopping missiles from launching to other action scene
things.
Also, scattered across the sets are things Joe needs to collect. Every set has many stars
that need collected but there are also things just for that set. If you are able to collect
everything, get a high score, and complete the objective, you can earn a Pro Medal and
look at it proudly. And yeah, the game wants you to race through a set as fast as you can,
while also collecting everything you can and avoiding hazards, so if you haven’t guessed
yet, the game encourages replaying levels until you master them. Luckily the levels
are fun and don’t take long, so it never feels like a chore. After you finish a level,
the game will show online leaderboards and how you stack up. So the end can be very ego
boosting or humbling.
The game also extends its life with a great level creator, that you can create with ease
and then publish the world, or play other people's levels. So the game is never ending.
And there is also multiplayer that is wild racing, with more than enough betrayals to
create enemies.
Joe Danger 2 shows just how much fun risking your life can be and it is more than worth
the ticket price to see this.
