This video demonstrates how to work with clip reels in the
Clipmaker application.
As you create clips, they get added to the Working Clip Reel
which is a temporary working area.
Each clip is labeled with the name of the source video file
as well as the start and stop time.
You can rename a clip by clicking on the header.
You can rearrange the order of clips by dragging them.
If you press the play button, it will load that video in the
interactive transcript and play that specific section.
When it finishes playing the clip, it will start playing
the next clip in your clip reel.
Clip reels can be saved and reloaded at a later time by
going to the Saved Clip Reels page.
Be sure to save the working clip reel before exiting the
application, otherwise, you will lose
your work in progress.
You can also print a clip reel.
This creates a text document that lists the clips as well
as additional information including duration, source
media files used, and a tag cloud of
frequently occurring words.
Another option is to export a clip reel as a new video or
audio file for use with other applications or for inclusion
in reports.
You can export a clip reel in several different video or
audio formats.
Once you select the output format, click the button
Export This Clip.
This starts the export process which can take just a few
minutes, or longer, depending on the
duration of the clip reel.
After processing is complete, you will see a link to
download the clip reel.
