Hi, how are you
This time I'll tell you about the time when the
international student's association took us to
Château de la Loire
Mochi in France: Chaâteau de la Loire
Château de la Loire is a region in France
where you can find many castles in just one region
it was a visit with many, many students
so you can guess how it was! Here it is:
We visited three castles in this region
the first was the "Château de Chambord"
as it's usual I started to make fun of one of the statues in the castle
and I was gonna put that in the blog
but the I realized that here they have the ability to make sculptures
with weird looking faces
and then we went back to the hostal in Blois
we played some ping pong...
...and as you can guess, the asian team kicked our *** in ping pong
it was a game quiet emotive
really emotive
and then we went to a center of cultural coexistence
to get to know the culture of the region... learn something
meaning: we went to a bar
Let's go partying tonight
Yes! In this episode there will be the cultural breviary that I promised
but as a part of this breviary I introduce to you
this noble and decent gentleman
yeah, that guy over there
today he'll teach us to say "cheers" around the world
French
Spanish
Turkish
German
Denmark
Israel
Hindi
and the next day we went to "Château de Cheverny"
and one of the first things that got my attention
is that they have a separated room for EVERYTHING
they have a room just to play
a room where men can smoke
a room where women can smoke
people is so crazy that it wouldn't surprise me
if they had a separated room
for the toilette and the shower..
wait... that's actually normal in France
and the other thing that got my attention is that there's
actually a family living there!
finally we went to "Château de Chenonceau"
it's a beautiful place!
As always, you can see the craziness of the people
that build this in France
When you see the map of the castle you can see that
there's land on one side
there's land on the other side
but for some reason they decided to
build the castle in the middle of the river!
As you might remember I told you that all the episodes
we will have a "cultural breviary" to learn to say the phrase
in many languages
so here it is:
Cultural Breviary
Lithuania
5 ways!
We had an amazing time
but that's it for today
Good Bye!
Thaks for watching this episode of "Mochi in France"
Take care
