I'm getting quite worried about the weather. It's half way through July and it's still
pouring down, and the forecast for this week's no better. We should be out making hay, not
messing about hiding from the rain. So, I don't know what's going to happen. It's
going to be an interesting year, and it's get harder.
Me in particular, the rain has affected me. Everything is behind, and I'm still wearing
wellington boots in July.
Again. I'm getting hassled from the staff to order everyone boots in the summer -- which
doesn't seem right. Plus, it's just holding everything back in terms of getting things
sorted out for the summer holidays really.
Hi MyFarmers. It's raining again. The horses have still got to be exercised, so I'm taking
Murphy out for a little ride. Exercised as in both ridden and in carriages, either way
they get out. But yeah, very wet, making all the brass go dull, lots of harness to clean,
and lots of mud everywhere.
Well, the bad weather is really, really affecting all of the work here on the farm, especially
all of the arable work. We're supposed to be out on the tractors topping the fields,
making hay, hopefully ripening up the crops for harvest. But we can't get out and do
any of it. So, I'm just cleaning up the grain stores really, and helping out around
the farm so it's really stopping everything, really. I'm just going to spray the yard
in a minute and get everything ready for the public, but we really can't do anything.
I don't like the rain, me, because there's a very good chance that you'll get wet.
Okay? So, yeah, rain not good. Thank very much, see you later
