>> Michael is 26. He's a journalism student living in New York, and he's just finished
a stressful round of finals. He's been working to lose weight after staying in a library
instead of going to the gym. He currently weighs 189 and he'd like to weigh 175 by the
time school is out in three months. To do this, he plans to cycle to and from school;
a 12-mile round trip. To see how he's doing and adjust his goals accordingly, Michael
uses Google Health to create trackers for weight, cycling, walking, and other activities.
Since Michael is always on the go, it's important to him that he gets his data into Google Health
without running to a computer to sign-in. So, he uses some of Google Health's integrated
partners to help get his data into Google Health easily. Michael monitors his weight
by using the digital Withings WiFi Body Scale which uploads his results directly into Google
Health each time he weighs himself. To upload his cycling and running data easily, he uses
an integrated Android fitness application called CardioTrainer. And to track his daily
movement, he uses the FitBit Activity Monitor, both of which are connected to Google Health
as integrated devices. Having his weight and workout data updated automatically every time
he signs into Google Health helps Michael make better decisions and fine-tune his goals
to get the best results possible. Assessing this data, Michael is able to dig deeper into
his performance and weight loss. He reviews his data, adjusts his diet and workouts according
to his progress. He also looks over the Google Health topic pages that have personalized
content based on wellness goals. Connected partners now make it easy to get wellness
data into Google Health. When you can see your daily results, working towards your goals
are easier than ever before.
