Well if you're watching this show right now you're probably doing what I do every morning
You're either getting ready to go to work or you're getting the little ones hustled out the door
to go to school and then heres the thing right, you've got one eye on the TV,
one eye on the clock and you have two hands on those lunch bags. So what is for
lunch today?
Well here's something for the entire family to enjoy. It is a four minute meal
for under
four dollars! With us today to cook up some noodle goodness is Chef Chris Paul
Thanks for having me. Always good to see you.
What you got for lunch for me to day? You cooking for me?
Noodles.
Alright!
Not just any noodles.
The best noodles, actually. Maruchan Yakisoba noodles
These are a quick and easy way to get dinner and lunch on the table
very, very fast. I love that!
Yup, and I'm going to show you how.
We've got our herbs
and our vegetables, and this is our flavor packet
you just put this right in here along with a little bit of water
about one cup of water
you are my assistant today this is great
it's because I like you
and then you just seal it, put it right in the microwave for four minutes
and stick it in here
and through the magic of television we have one that's already made, right?
We do.
So this is the spice packet. We're gonna put the spices right in
there and after you combine all the spices you wanna mix it up
a little bit you want this to sit for a little while yeah but i'm gonna move
it along a little bit because I really want to show you what you can do with these noodles
That's amazing, you know, because when you think of
Maruchan noodles you think of Japanese,
but these noodles can be cooked any way, and you've brought a great example of
it but let's get to it. I'm looking at all these wonderful ideas, you've got mozzarella
here and garlic, so you really can do anything
You really can, and what does America thrive on?
Italian food.
So we have our noodles here, fresh mozzarella, we're going to put a little bit
of
our fresh mozarella right in here, and you can do this really quickly
What's found in Italian food? Garlic.
A little bit of garlic.
Tomatoes. And
basil.
Gotta have basil, and you just stir that up.
Gonna put a little olive oil in here. I love that on my pasta dishes.
A little pepper, a little bit of heat,
and again you just want to mix this up really good
When you pull this out it's hot, so the cheese will get a little mushy, it all blends together
yummy, yummy yummy
and then here is the end result of what you made there. Look how pretty that looks.
Gorgeous. Quick and easy. How many minutes?
Four!
You scored a home run again
