just when you thought money in politics couldn't get any worse
and it already reached its dizziness thanks again man
quote investigations by the website RH reality check
and Politico found that a network of organizations headed by billionaire
conservatives Charles and David Koch
has spent tens of millions of dollars funding the
anti-choice movement so if you've been wondering
like I was why is it that seemingly
out of nowhere conservatives in a lot of these red states
have had success in cracking down on abortion
here's your answer before they gonna try as much as they want it before but they
didn't have the financial backing
now they have financial backing so all the sudden they're actually getting some
legislation passed is really scary stuff man
quote political detailed how the coke network uses the shell company freedom
partners
as a clearinghouse a block around 200 donors give an average Joe
one hundred thousand dollars per year to freedom partners
freedom partners awarded more than $236 million dollars in grants to anti-choice
groups
and other far-right causes since its inception in November of 2011
among the group who have been on the receiving end of freedom partners
largess
include the center to protect patient rights which is a very lonely
anti-abortion and you Obama Care Group
and the concerned Women for America legislative action committee
which again is a right-wing social pressure group
so basically what I take away from this
is that there isn't a single
issue in america politically that
can't be bought that's not up for sale n your weight only ensure you have the
money
that's what this teaches me because you have to understand but when you go back
to
roe versus wade okay the liberal position was solidified to a degree in
that case
and then there's been subsequent Supreme Court cases on the issue of abortion
abortion they change the standard slightly to what's called the fetal
viability standard
so 8 is still the case that you know the state can't
well legislate within before the first 24 week so
a woman is allowed to get that no matter what but in the first 24 weeks after
that then
you know there's a gray area in states can start but legislating
you know different things on a state by state basis
but the bottom line is we were
ruled correct a long time ago the progressives the Liberals
right we want in this debate but they're not going away the Conservatives are
going away
and the reason is their backed by billionaires who keep pushing their
agenda
down everybody's throats you at the pole disagree with them even if the law
disagrees with them
