Hi everyone! This is Tony. Welcome to Tony and Karen kitchen
Today, I am going to show you one of my favorite soup and noodle
that I learned from my mom. Let see the ingredients we need
so what is pickled cabbage?
well, this is how it looks like in a cane
You can easily get it in most of the Chinese supermarket
so we marinate the pork
with that most common Chinese seasoning as you can see on the screen for 15 minutes
now the water is boiling
so it is time to add the noodle.
so we add the noodle into the hot water and cook it per instruction from the package
we turns the heat
to medium-high heat and and add about 1/2 cup of cold water to cool down to water
so that the water will not spill out while cooking
now I am going to stir-fry the cabbages
well, this is a optional step but I highly recommend you do it
because it will enhance the flavor of the cabbages
cabbage from the cane may have the unpleasant smell
so we add about 1 tbsp of cooking wine
and stir fry with the cabbages to remove remove the smell
and we
add about 1 teaspoon of sugar as the cabbages maybe salty
we put that cabbages aside
for the moment and then heat the pan again with
1 teaspoon of oil over medium-high heat
and add the pork and pan-fried it
now let see the noodles. As you can see when you
add the cold water, now the noodle cooks
peacefully the water is spilled out Perfect!!!

Pan-fry the pork until both side is golden
and when the pork is ready
we are now ready to at the tomato and we
add about 1 tsp of sugar
and we add back
cabbages. And we mix it well. Cook
until the juice of tomato is released
and tomato is soft. Then we add about
800 ML hot water
cover and cook for 6-8 minutes
over medium to high heat
now the noodle is cooked. We rinse it
under the cold water to cool it down so that it is not overcooked
now the soup is ready as well
so, it is time to add the noodle back
add the noodle is cold
so we continue to cook until the soup
and a noodle is hot again.
It is time to add 1 tsp of fish sauce
to enhance the favor of the noodles
and it is now time to serve
