A lot of people are prejudiced about me.
They have this image of people with a handicap.
But the moment I step on the dance floor...
all those handicaps and prejudices are gone.
You achieve the most in breaking if you stay true to yourself.
I've always stayed true to myself, and I built on that.
I was born with a physical disability. I have a shorter right arm...
two fingers on my right hand, and three on my left hand.
I miss a right hip, my right leg is shorter, and I have a prosthetic.
It is not an ideal situation to start dancing.
I've always been very determined, and I never let myself be limited in any way.
Even when people around me thought I could never do it.
Today I'm going to Eindhoven for the World BBoy Classic.
It's a big international event, and you compete in duos.
I'm entering with Jeroen, also known as b-boy Nazgul.
Redo inspires me.
Because Redo doesn't see his disabilities, I don't see them either.
It shows that they're not really limitations. That's just in your head.
If you think you can't do something, you won't be able to.
I've been b-boying for nine years now.
But I've been more into it these last years.
When you get into the scene...
you meet a lot of people, and you get a lot of opportunities.
You really grow into it.
The great thing about the b-boy scene is that you're accepted...
no matter who you are, where you're from, or what you do.
We're through to the finals this evening on the big stage.
We're competing against the best, so we have to step it up.
It's a good thing that we've made it through the qualifications.
Now we can showcase ourselves on the big stage, which is good.
Before the show you feel all kinds of things.
Adrenaline, nerves, the pressure to perform.
It's a combination of things that keeps running through your head.
I could have danced better, to be honest.
But today I've learned what I can improve on next time.
And I'm going to show that at the Red Bull BC One Cypher in Eindhoven.
