I have a button that I am going to attach to the back side opening.
I am going to make sure that I am on the right side.
When I attach the straps I attach them on the inside and I can see that this is the inside of my work.
I want to attach on the inside like this. I'm going to run my yarn through the stitches.
I don't want to pull it all the way through.
I'm going to go right about here and make a knot.
I have a little bit showing here and I can just go like that and it will pull it on in.
I want to align my button on the outside like this.
Put my needle up right about here.
I am on the outside of my work now going to align the button right here. You can align yours wherever you want to put it. There's no specific place
Just us your imagination and have fun creating the opening and embellishing the dress.
I'm going to run my needle through and I'll only need to do this maybe three or four times.
I'm going to put it through the stitches through the button like this.
I don't want to pull it too tight.
I'm going to continue putting through a couple more.
This is my last one
Going to run my needle to the inside like this.
Working on the inside I want to make a knot.
And then weave the tail between the stitches like this working on the inside.
And then go over strand back in the opposite direction just like this.
This completes attaching a button to a piece of crochet work.
