Okay, so now we’re going to talk a little, little bit about magick!
(Magick wand sound) (Laughter)
And we’re going to twitch our noses and we’re going to go wherever we want to go,
right?
No. That’s not the kind of magick we’re talking about.
And we’re not talking about the hocus pocus kind either.
The slight of hand – although that’s very clever and a lot of fun to watch.
What we’re going to talk about today is a little bit about intention and imagination.
What intentions are – it’s the meanings that you give to the things you do.
The reasons behind the things you do.
So I have made a Mirror Chant. And we’re going to use our intentions to create something
really magickal.
That thing would be a good feeling about YOU.
Because if you don’t feel good about YOU, then how can you make anybody else feel good
about you?
I like me. Do you like you?
So, whether you use a plain mirror, or whether you use one that’s a little fancier,
intention is what is really, really important.
Intention and imagnation. So here we go:
I intend to feel good.
Mirror! Mirror! In my hand, I want you to understand,
I like who I am and what I see, I like who I choose to be.
I want you to help me see, Every time I look at me,
That there’s so much to like and see, Right there looking back at me.
Mirror! Mirror! That’s the end, Thanks for being my true friend.
And the mirror can be your true friend.
One thing that I like to tell a lot of people, when they don’t feel so good about themselves,
is to draw a smiley face on their mirror.
Isn’t that fun?
Would you like to maybe do it with lipstick?
Or paint? Or crayon?
Make sure that you get Mom or Dad’s permission before you do it!
But if you will take just a minute every time you look in the mirror and you say,
I like myself. I like myself. I like myself.
Everytime that you see that little smiley face in the corner of the mirror,
something magickal will happen.
You’ll begin to like yourself even more.
So, once again, let’s say the chant. Can you say it with me?
And remember, most of the things that we put on our show, are on our Facebook page,
Our Facebook Friends of Rupert page, and some of them are on our website too.
Here ya go, are you ready?
Mirror! Mirror! In my hand, I want you to understand,
I like who I am and what I see, I like who I choose to be.
I want you to help me see, Every time I look at me,
That there’s so much to like and see, Right there looking back at me.
Mirror! Mirror! That’s the end, Thanks for being my true friend.
And thank YOU, for liking you too.
That’s magick. That’s REAL magick.
