Hey everyone. In this video I'm going to show
you how i made the checkerboard
pattern inside this cake
you'll want to have three different
sized
circle cutters
a large medium and small
and I've already cutout the large size
to help you find the center you
might want to mark a little X
and then cut out
the medium
and carefully remove
the large
and then with the medium sized circle
use the smallest cutter
and remove the middle from that
so you'll end up with three different
sized circles
and then make sure to do that to all of
your colors
after that start arranging them
in the pattern you would like to make
them
now start placing
the little pieces together to form the whole puzzle
and try to
close all the gaps
so there wont be any holes
and do that to all the layers
once you finish that
starts stacking them on top of one
another
and try to press out any air bubbles
then to help make the edges blend better
roll it while applying pressure with
your finger
and you can frost it any way you like I'm
choosing
to add a thin
sheet of
chocolate clay
you can also mix
TLS and clay together to make that
kind of whipped looking frosting
add some finishing touches to the
bottom
and before you slice the cake you'll want
to put it in your refrigerator
or freezer for five minutes that'll help
stop the colors from blending as you're slicing it
and then use a really thin knife
cut the size slice that you like
and the best part
Tah-Dah!!! :D
now you can use a toothpick or needle tool
I'm using a
small nail
to add texture
it may take a while
and that's all it there really is to it
um...
I added a few extra decorations mine but
you could decorate yours any way you like
and ya
that's about it
