I became an agent because it seemed to be the perfect synthesis of a lot of my past
experiences. I was a creative director for twenty-five years and at the end of the day,
being a real estate agent is really about marketing property. So it was actually something
I was really well-versed in. I had been a person who worked in television, I had been
person who worked in print and I had been a person who worked in technology; all of
which seem to be the relevant media that real estate uses today to sell property. So I was
actually sort of an expert in it before I began but then the thing that really pushed
me over the edge was buying and selling my first property which was a house in upstate
New York. And being at an artist, it was interesting my wife at the time and I made more money
on that one transaction that we had in our professional careers. So it became something
that said hmm, maybe there's something here for me. And it's been gangbusters ever since.
I've had a great time with it. And I really enjoy both helping people find properties
but even more so, helping people sell their properties and maximizing their profit from
it.
