This is a short demonstration
to show you how easy it is for you to refill your own Dell 3110 or Dell 3115
toner cartridges at home.
The Dell 3110 and Dell 3115 toner cartridges look like this. This
is the side view or the view from the bottom of the cartridge.
All toner cartridges can be refilled,
and instructions on how to refill your specific type is included
in a step-by-step illustrated guide which comes with the Uni-Kit toner refill system.
Using the Uni-Kit toner refill system to refill your toner cartridges is fast and
easy
and will cost you pennies on the dollars as compared to buying original brand cartridges from an Office
Supply Store.
This particular model like I mentioned is the Dell 3115 (same as Dell 3110), and
in order to fill it, you need to first expose a refill port.
To make a refill port in this cartridge,
you need to use the Uni-Kit
toner hole-making tool.
The hole-making tool is a device that is either sold with the kit or sold seperately as an accessory
It is reusable multiple times.
To use the tool, simply plug it in to an AC power outlet and
allow it to rest on the hole-making tool stand
for about 30-60 seconds while the tip
heats up.
Be careful not to touch
the tool as it
will get very hot and you could burn yourself.
Hold the tool from the handle when it gets hot
and use it to make a hole in the toner cartridge
in the specific location that is outlined in the detailed instructions guide.
In this particular cartridge, the hole is going to be made in this location
by pressing the hole-making tool for about 30 seconds against the cartridge.
That pressure and heat will be sufficient
to create a perfectly round hole
in the toner cartridge.
Now you can fill the cartridge by attaching
the toner refill funnel
to the toner refill bottle.
Pour the toner into the cartridge
through the hole that you just created
and then seal the hole using a plug that is included with the refill kit.
The cartridge is now refilled and ready for use.
