There is no doubt that the most famous polish are Nikolas Copernicus, Maria Sklodowska-Currie and Frederic Chopin.
This year came with 200th anniversary of Frederic Chopin as well as the next Chopin year.
The anniversary was launched on 7th January with ceremonial concert in Warsaw Philharmonic by Chinese pianist – Lang Lang.
Ceremonial concerts, expensive tickets and almost 40 million of pianists playing music of polish composer, this is not only a higher art.
Interest in classical music can be found also among common citizens.
One of them, using auspicious atmospheric conditions, has drawn in snow his own tribute for the pianist output.
The author of the yesterday's inscription, as well as the present-day piano keyboard pattern, is one of the Chelm’s citizen.
It started with a piano keyboard along the Cebertowicza Street, and yesterday evening showed up a huge inscription on crossroads of Witosa and Sikorskiego.
This is something new on this crossroad indeed, but in my place I play with the snow for a couple of years.
One of the first tributes I made was for Mozart in 2006.
The inscription made a huge interest among pedestrians, but not everyone knew what does it mean.
Do you recognize the inscription?
This is Chopin, perhaps.
Chopin indeed. Do you know, why somebody made this inscription.
No, I don’t.
Do you like it?
Yes, why not.
Surprisingly, the inscription makes an interest among teenagers coming from the nearby school.
But there ware a differences due to the meaning of the inscription.
The inscription starts with “CH”, so at the beginning there was quite obvious association.
In spite of another Chopin year, spontaneous reaction of Mr. Barbucha is also the encouragement for the rest of Chelm’s civilians for taking a part in neighbourhoods’ life and to put the available public space to use.
