Welcome to the third video of the AuthenWare Demo training series.
At the end of the second video,
we left off with showing how a non-matching typing pattern results in a failed login.
Now it's time to explain a few more details about AuthenWare.
It’s important to know that behavioral biometrics are dynamic.
The pattern evolves with each successful login.
Failed logins do NOT change the biometric pattern.
AuthenWare has 5 levels of Security.
The Demo is set at level 3.
At Level 3, if your Trust Identity Rate is above 62%
you successfully gain access based on your biometric behaviors.
If your Trust Identity Rate is below 50%
then you are DENIED access based on your biometric behaviors.
If your Trust Identity Rate falls between 50% and 62%,
we call this the Uncertainty Zone.
In the Uncertainty Zone,
AuthenWare’s algorithm looks at environmental factors
to help decide whether to ALLOW or DENY access.
These environmental factors include
IP
ISP
Operating System Version
Browser Version
and Screen Resolution, among other factors.
AuthenWare is completely configurable based on business rules.
You can decide when to ALLOW or DENY access
or you can just monitor logins and send information to the Security Team.
AuthenWare can detect FRAUD immediately!
If you FAIL 3 times,
both you AND the Security Team will receive emails that say
someone is trying to use your credentials.
If this is NOT you, please change your password.
If this is you, then you receive a One-Time Password (OTP)
and the option to train another pattern
in case you broke your finger or are trying to logIn using a new device.
OTPs can be sent via e-mail, SMS, or both.
Because AuthenWare can identify a hacking attempt immediately,
our customers have changed their password policies
and only change a user’s password if it has been compromised.
The end result is a GREAT user experience!
Users LOVE AuthenWare.
This is the end of the third training section.
Please go on to the fourth video for the last of the information!
