So now let's check out the A9 chord and we'll begin by just spelling the notes of the chord;
we have A the root, C sharp the 3rd; E the 5th and G the flat 7, and B the 9th of the
chord so those are the possible notes and in many cases we won’t play all of those
notes because they're not so important; the least important in our case here is the 5th
so we can always omit this E note. So let's check out A9; on the 6th string we have A,
5th fret second finger then we have C sharp the 3rd on the 4th fret of the 5th string;
then we have G the flat 7 on the 5th fret of the 4th string, then we have the 9th B
on the 4th fret of the 3rd string.
