Welcome back to Summit Racing Quick Flicks, I’m Al and today we will be talking about
demon carburetors. The demon carburetor is back at Summit Racing and today we are going
to talk about the different models and help you determine which model is right for your
vehicle. Each of the Demon Carburetors that we are going to talk about today have dual
fuel inlets, high flow fuel bowls, power valve blowout protection and a dye chromate finish.
And now we are going to talk about the differences in the demon carburetor models. The first
Demon carb we have here is the road demon, the suggested use is for a V6 or V8 producing
350 horsepower or less it comes in two sizes 625 and 725 CFM’s there is an electronic
choke, vacuum secondary’s and is perfect for an automatic transmission with a mild
torque converter. The next demon carburetor we are going to talk about is the speed demon.
The speed demon comes in three sizes 650, 750 and 850 CFM’s which makes it ideal for
both street and strip applications. For those of you who are going to spend more time on
the street, it is available with vacuum secondary’s and an automatic choke for those of you who
are going to spend more time on the strip it is available with mechanical secondary’s
and the choke is removed for better air flow. The last demon carburetor we are going to
talk about today is the mighty demon which is best suited for race applications. The
mighty demon has mechanical secondary’s and comes in two sizes 750 and 850 CFM’s.
To best fit your tuning needs there is a down leg and annular booster design option. With
this information you can now choose the demon carburetor that is best for you, thanks for
watching .
