Have your comb nearby, in your pocket or wherever you want to put it. Alright, so down here
we see in Alexa's hair that I have taken a section, this first section. Now, before I
get started I'm going to need three different tufts of hair like in any braid and a French
braid is a little bit different then say, a corn row. French braid you are going to
take your three sections and you are going to cross them over, over, over, over so if
you saw my corn rowing that was under, under, under. Now, this is the French braid, and
so we are going to grab our three sections of hair, one with my right hand here. If you
are mirroring me it might be the left hand, so I grab it with all my fingers like this
and my thumb. Then next, I'm going to take the other side and I'm going to do the same
thing. That middle section, see I have got them with my thumbs and my pointer fingers
like that and so I'm going to start with the very far one down below and I'm going to cross
it down over my middle, okay? So let me show you one more time just that first technique.
Take the lower one and cross it over the middle.
