Hello my name is Andrew Campbell, welcome to AC Silver
This fine and impressive antique William IV English sterling silver Kings pattern flatware
service for twelve persons is quite exceptional.
Made by the renowned London cutlery maker William Chawner II.
The service is a straight set, it's very hard to find such antique services made by the
same maker.
The kings pattern decoration is very sharp.
Full hallmarks are struck to the reverse of each piece, and surface of the knives.
The condition is excellent, showing little signs of use.
The bowls of the spoons are unworn.
The tines of the forks are even; and certainly don't show signs of wear.
At a weight of 142 troy ounces, excluding knives, the set is an excellent gauge of silver.
The service is supplied in anti-tarnish cutlery storage rolls.
The highlighted features of this exceptional service make it one that could be sold with
my highest recommendations.
If you require any further information or assistance regarding this exceptional canteen
of cutlery, please do not hesitate to contact us via telephone or email.
