your motivations will change. There is so much more you can do. It is opening up a world
of possibilities.\ \
So, it has been twelve years since I have become a healthy person and I have a newfound
energy and that energy is contagious.\ \
Horseback riding great, have not done that in years. And then snowshoeing, have never
done that. I hate the cold but had a great time. Okay. I can do this. The obstacles will
always be there. It is just your mindset. \
\ The belief that you can make the changes.
The ability to break it down into the small pieces. Angela makes that so easy, that it
is hard to fail.\ \
Something magical happens when you are with a group of people. There is a feeling that
is inspiring. \ \
And I do not want to be 65 and say, I really need to lose weight. I want to be 65 and say,
I feel great! Come on kids, lets go to the park. Lets feed the ducks, lets walk in the
zoo, I want to be able to be the leader. I want to be able to inspire my family as well.
If you challenge yourself, you can reach further than what you initially may have thought,
and I feel like I was challenged here. The satisfaction afterward is very empowering
and overwhelming. It makes you want to do more. So I am looking forward to a year from
now when I have had the opportunity to shed several more pounds and come back and say,
look! Yay! Lets go on a twice as long walk as we did last time or lets try something
new that we wouldn\'92t have done before because we were carrying that extra weight.\
\ If you are ready to try a different approach,
may not be as fast as the quick fix you are used to, but it is permanent and lasting,
and if you are ready to do that, I am committed to help you get there. This is about changing
your life. It is not about subscribing to the current fad.\
\ Diets are not real change. They are something
in the short term that can get you to a spot but if you do not change your thought process
or beliefs, you are right back to where you were. \
\ I can see the possibility now which I did
not see before to make it happen long term.\ \
It is inspiring to see the other people make that shift and see that they can do it when
they did not believe that they could or that they were worthy of it.\
\ I can reach out to somebody else in the group
and say Hey what do you think about this? Have you tired this? and just having that
sense of community is important.\ \
She goes out of her way to get us involved with the other people in the group and I get
the feeling that she really cares whether I do well or not.\
\ Be open and caring and supportive through
her leadership.\ \
We all have different backgrounds. We have different weight loss issues. We have different
stages. Some have already lost weight, some haven\'92t. Some are negative. I was before
I got here. Like aaugh I am never going to do it. I have not done it this far, why would
I change? I do feel like I can do it now.\ \
Sitting in the hot tub while it is snowing. Those are all things I would not normally
do and it is just what my soul needed. A weekend for me.\
\ Every little step. All those little steps
you know, can climb a mountain.\ \
I believe Angelas ultimate goal for all of us is success.\
\ It is amazing to watch people create new lives.
I mean, it is just amazing. I love helping people change their life.\
