Hey, there, cool cats, this is the Hi Fi Guy again. I certainly hope that you're enjoying
a great day just like I am. And today I'm going to try to help you make a great day
even better by telling you about the Sennheiser PX 100-II i Light Weight Supra-Aural Headset.
If you haven't seen it already, I would encourage you to also watch another video about the
Sennheiser PX 100-II i on the sister site, www.hifiguy.org. That video shares several
review summaries to show you what people have to say about the PX 100-II i after they have
already owned and used the product. For your convenience I'll bring that link up again
later in this video. But the purpose of the video that you're watching right now is to
tell you about the features of the PX 100-II i Headset so that you can see for yourselves
if this is what you're really looking for. If you're looking for an
extremely comfortable light-weight
compact and extremely durable
open, on-ear design which allows some external sound penetration, that yields
natural sound reproduction with a special emphasis on bass and a
minimum of harmonic distortion, and is specially optimized for
MP3 players iPod and
iPhones, and yet is also very affordable for a modest budget,
then the Sennheiser
PX 100-II i Light Weight
Supra-Aural Headset is not likely to disappoint you.
The original Sennheiser PX 100 first appeared in
May of 2008.
And now, building on the fantastic legacy of that outstanding original design, ever
since September of
2012, the new and improved PX 100-II i headset has been available with several exciting new
features, including its three-button, in-line
remote and microphone, a single-sided, re-engineered cable that attaches
to the left ear cup to avoid tangles, stronger, reinforced folding hinges for extra
durability, and an extremely durable, steel-reinforced
headband. Powered by a set of
DuoFol™ dynamic speakers with neodymium magnets, the Sennheiser PX 100-II
i delivers an impressive frequency response of 15-27,000 hertz featuring
a special emphasis on deep bass with a
normal impedance of 32 ohms and a surprisingly powerful maximum sound power
level of 114dB (at 1kHz, 1V) and with a noise compensation of up to 20 dB (90%) at
a harmonic distortion level of less than 0.1%
Specially built for portability in a compact,
collapsible, fold-and-clip design that easily folds to
fit into the handy, nylon carrying pouch, the PX 100-II i
is the ideal travelling headset, engineered for
extreme comfort with a light-weight design of just
2.6 ounces, that is, 75 grams with
soft, foam-cushioned swivelling ear cups,
securely attached to the padded,
steel-reinforced headband that adjusts to any sized head and is so light
and comfortable that you might even forget that your wearing the headset.
If you just want headphones for listening but don't need a headset for phone calls,
you might be more interested in the slightly less expensive PX 100-II model,
but if you need a very versatile headset for hands-free calling, the
Sennheiser PX 100-II i has all you need with its handy, in-line microphone and remote that
allows you, with the greatest of ease, to answer phone calls,
play, pause,
switch tracks, and adjust volume.
With this, the PX 100-II i headset is specially optimized for
MP 3 players, notebooks,
iPods, and all iPhones after the 3g's, as well as several
Android phones and Smart phones.
For the listener's safety, the open ear cup design allows some
surrounding sound to penetrate so that the listener can be aware of what's going on around
him. The PX 100-II i Headset's
3.9 ft (1.2 meter) cable attaches to your audio device
with a standard 1/8 inch
(3.5 mm) jack plug. And to make sure your purchase is safe, the
Sennheiser PX 100-II i Headset comes with a 2-year warranty.
