After driving the GTI and GTD at Volkswagen Rotterdam
we now took an RS3 from Audi Rotterdam
it was a pleasure to be there, as always
this is a car you have to have on your list
it's not right that I have driven an MTM version with 472 BHP
but not the standard one
I had to add this to my list
this is kind of our vacation so we thought
let's go do something fun
and luckily, they had one of these for us
when you drive this car
it reminds me of the RS6
It's like a mini-RS6
the powertrain is more like a Nissan GTR
so is the sound, it's very tight and it sings
I really like it
when you look at the practicality and charisma
it's very close to an RS6
I really love that
it is something special
but you'd easily walk past it
I think that is one of the pluses of an RS3
you could even drive this as a company car...
..drive it very fast, mind you
this car has the dual-clutch S-Tronic gearbox
that means it has a wonderful launch-control mode
I did it before, but I'll do it again
It's really great
it is merciless
0-100 km/h takes 4.6 seconds, which is as fast as a V10 RS6
340 BHP, 450Nm and a topspeed of 250 km/h
it is mainly the way it gets there
it gets from 0 to 200 in no time
and after that it just keeps going
and thát is Audi RS
the sound of this 5-cylinder is so special
nothing sounds like a 5-cylinder
that, for me, is what Audi RS is
relentless acceleration, the sound, the gearbox
it all adds up to such a nice car
how can I put this car into words
it's like a bomb of comfort and speed
it is so incredibly fast
but in a way that it stays safe, because of the Quattro system
you can take 4 people + luggage with this thing
the 5-cylinder is of course inextricably linked with Audi
and when you push this button right here
that engine gets a bit more aggressive and the valves open in the exhaust
it becomes somewhat more violent
but you never lose control
and that also is Audi RS
it always stays managable
