~ Meditate: Say the Wise ~
A seeker came from afar to ask a wise old man for wisdom.
The seeker was in a hurry and asked the old man to be as brief as possible.
The old man continued to silently sit on the shore.
The impatient seeker asked the old man if he was deaf.
The old man picked up a stick to write in the sand.
Silently he smoothed the sand and wrote one word.
[meditate]
The seeker impatiently asked for further explanation.
The old man reluctantly again smoothed the sand and wrote one word.
[MEDITATE]
Over time he has written this word in the sand for a series of seekers.
The following is what some of these seekers saw.

The last seeker took some drugs, plunged fully clothed into the water and drowned.
[medi -- tate]
These seekers' visions were dyslexic, myopic, astigmatic and projected.
[me -- di -- ta -- te]
What they saw was filtered through beliefs, conditioning and identifications.
[me / di / ta / te]
All enlightened masters face this dilemma of their "blind" disciples.
[me // di // ta // te]
To see clearly, go within, beyond the mind, to the innermost center of being.

"Be a light unto yourself." ~ Buddha
Meditation means not playing the ego game of ambition like a robotic slave.
Meditation is friendly social subversion and spiritual anarchy.
