Before given an order I was told that if I surrender (give up)
my relatives to the great grandparents would be found by them.
"Bogolepov, you are heavily equipted, you'll be last to enter"
There were 36 of us.
"You'll jump out first, not to land on the cope of par of there others"
The loading completed and the plane takes off.
My thought is if it happens they take me by chance
I'am landing from the sky.
What if I'am in the very crowd of germans that I can't resist.
So I take out a grenade (F-1) and make it ready.
I feel Iam landing right to the germans as It was 2 km high
and back fly me guys
we flew under fire
So I'am waiting to open my hand with the grenade.
I'am landing close to the gun which fires my fellows. They had a 2-barrel machine gun.
I could do nothing but to throw the grenade into them.
They blew up, of course.
I saved 28 men.
They quietly landed.
Then I folded in the parachute.
I still can't understand how could't the germans notice me on the pars then.
