Once you've done the starting stitch,
turn your lanyard so that your longer strands run vertically,
like so. Now, you have a top strand,
a bottom strand, two left strands,
and two right strands. We'll start at the top and bottom strands.
Your top strands sits on the left.
So, we're going to bring it down and keep it on the left side so
that it's straight. The bottom strand sits on the right.
So, we're going to bring it up and keep it on the right side so
it's also straight. Next, we'll take the first right strand and bring it over and
under to left side. Then we'll take the first left strand and bring it over-under
to the right side. Take the second right strand.
Bring it over-under to the left side.
Finally, we'll take the second left strand and bring it over-under to the right side.
Now, steadily pull on all six strands really tight to finish the stitch.
Now, our tops strand's on the right side and our bottom strand's on the left
side. So, we'll bring the top strand down.
Keep it straight by keeping it on the right side.
We'll bring the bottom strand up and keep it on the left side.
Take the first left strand and keeping it straight,
bring it across to the right side,
over-under. Take the first right strand and go over-under to the left.
Take the second left strand and bring it over-under to the right,
and take the second right strand.
Bring it over-under to the left and pull all six strands really tight.
Just keep repeating this until you're ready for the final stitch.
