Now I'm going to show you a useful tip when making your puppet theater, on how to easily
change the set. On the border of our, the picture frame border that we created, I'm
going to lay a strip of Velcro along the bottom and along the top. Now the strip of Velcro
that we put is going to be the felt side of the Velcro and we're going to put it along
the bottom, one strip along the bottom, one strip along the top. Make sure that you're
putting it on the backside of the picture frame border where the fasteners opened up
and secured the strips together. So go ahead and cut a strip of Velcro that runs along
the entire length and take off the back side of the glue and put it right onto the border.
Now this is going to be used for changing the set in the background. Let's say that
you are putting on a show and you want a tree in the background. So what you do is you create
a tree and on the bottom of the tree, put the other side of the Velcro that sticks to
the felt and you can actually stick the tree so that it sits behind in the background of
the puppet theater. So you can also do the same thing on top, you can put clouds or you
can put a bird or you can put different types of animal, people, whatever you want in the
background and it's going to stick there by sticking to the Velcro. So, there's really
an endless type of range of things that you can put in the background and all of these
things really help it look like a real professional theater, a puppet show theater. So this is
an important step if you want to have a lot of flexibility in the type of shows that you
put on and the type of sets that you can create. So I've now shown you how to put Velcro along
the picture frame border in order that we can change the set for different scenes of
our puppet show.
