A day of renewal; new employees, always a great time.
Starting a great journey with a great service in our great city, so welcome all
thank you for coming today to honor these five people that have earned
the right to call themselves Toronto Fire Services staff.
I am pleased to welcome you today
to today's CallTaker Dispatcher graduation ceremony.
The men and women to the Toronto Fire Services are proud of our new graduates,
who joined a noble tradition of courage, compassion,
and service. We thank each of you for choosing a career
of public safety in our great city. Graduating today is a start
of hopefully a long career and a long road ahead
as a team member the largest fire service in Canada.
On behalf the men and women at the Toronto Fire Services,
I'm pleased to welcome you all to our new fire service family. Thank you.
It's arguable that one of the most important components
of an organization, any organization maybe even more important in something
like the fire service
and really an important component any
part of human interaction, is communication.
How lucky then, that for you
it's actually part of your job title. You connect us to those we serve,
when they need us most.
