So once both your piece and your handle have had a chance to set up for a little while,
you're ready to go ahead and attach the handles. The first thing I do is take my sponge and
just smooth this handle out and compress it a little bit and then I will cut a piece.
I want them to be the same length so I'll line it up and cut it again right there. Now
the first thing to do is to score right where the handle is going to attach using a scoring
tool which has multiple points. You can also use just a regular needle tool but this requires
a little bit less work. And then also get moist and score on the back side of the handle
where it's going to connect. And then just take this and press it in, firmly, and then
smooth down with your fingers. And then shape it out so that it looks nice. So there we
go. I'll do that on the other side and then this piece will be complete.
