Hi, everybody following us all over the world.
Welcome to Rock for Rockers.
It's been long since the last show, but now we are back and ready with new stuff.
I, Alan, am glad to be back to bring you this and other programs.
I have many announcements.
First, this show will be longer than normal, because we'll have our first rock album review,
and we will release an idea by Alfredo, from Costa Rica.
It's called "Classic Battles".
It consists in battles between two bands with an special and famous rivalry.
That means that in this program we'll have two battles: the championship's one and the classic battle.
Votes for the two battles will be made separately.
Soon I'll be presenting a JoMCaR TV's new show, "xD".
Now our first rock album review.
The album chosen was Nevermind by Nirvana.
This album was published in 1991, a very particular year in the history of rock,
for all the successful rock albums released that year.
In Nevermind, Nirvana tried a more elaborated sound than in their previous album, Bleach.
They combined grunge's heavy riffs with soft melodies,
and obtained what is considered now a masterpiece of Alternative Rock.
Well-made and well-played songs, and a lot of good ideas together, define Nevermind,
one of the most celebrated albums in the history of Rock.
Now, our first Classic Battle, with a rivalry from the 90's. It is the Britpop rivalry: Oasis and Blur.
Vote for your "favourite" in this Classic Battle.
Now, the 2º lap of the "Battle of the Bands" championship begins.
You can vote for 3 bands you like between the 5 fighting here.
Put them in order of preference, but you can make draw between bands, or vote only for 1 or 2 bands.
If you don't have an special preference for any of the bands, you can vote for 4 bands.
Now, these are the bands: Bullet for my Valentine, Death, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Clash and U2.
You can start voting. See you on the next program.
