Hello it's Kev from Wheel Medic here. Today we are going to show you how we do a full
restoration. So this is stage one here, what we are going to do here, well as you can see
this wheel is pretty oxidised, it's got kerb damage but more importantly all the inner
edges here are all rotten, so the tyres are leaking. They are bent out of shape inside
and outside, they are all manky on the back, so what we are going to do here is put them
in acid vats bur all the paint off, then vapour blast them to get a nice new metal, a good
base for our refurbishment. So here we have stage two, now stage two, it's been acid dipped,
its been vapour blasted and as you can see its all brand new metal inside and outside,
it's perfect, and we're ready to start our refurbishment actually putting some colour
on these wheels. We've straightened these wheels as well cause they were a bit out of
shape. That's free of charge when we do this sort of service. So here we have stage three.
Now stage three we've powder coated this in a really robust, thick, lovely rich grey primer,
it's baked at really high temperatures and it will last a long time, and it gives us
a lovely base to put our final colour on. As you can see it's been done inside, outside,
everywhere. So we are moving on to stage four, the final process and this is it done. Using
a proper Volkswagen colours because these are Volkswagen wheels, they're done on the
inside, they are done on the outside, they are flawless. So what remains to be done is
put the tyres on, balance the wheels and its back to a very happy customer.
