Get your Home screen looking the way you want. By putting the things you want and need on
the Home screen, you get quick access to important information and applications.
You have 7 screens to work with. It should be plenty to add the widgets and shortcuts
you want.
We've included a host of widgets so just pick the widgets you like.
Let's add a widget. Tap and hold the screen, and then tap widget.
There's a lot to choose from. If you're like me, I want to see my email messages right
away. Let's add the Mail widget.
Most of the widgets offer different styles, so choose one you like. This one looks cool.
Select the account you want to show and that's it.
And if you need to change what's shown on a widget, just drag the widget to the edit
button.
Besides widgets, you can also add shortcuts to the home screen.
If you listen to music with your phone, you can add a shortcut to a music playlist on
the home screen, so next time you want to listen to that playlist, just tap it on the
home screen.
It's also easy to rearrange the items on your Home screen. Just drag an item to where
you want it. The other items in the area will automatically adjust their positions.
You can also move an item to a different screen by dragging it to the edge of the screen.
Or, if you want to remove it from your Home screen, just drag it to the Remove button.
You can also pinch the Home screen to go to Leap view. In Leap view, you can quickly jump
to a screen by tapping it.
Or, if you want, you can also rearrange the screens.
And to really make the Home screen yours, use one of your photos as the wallpaper.
Press MENU, tap wallpaper, then Gallery.
Choose the picture you want to use, crop if needed, then tap Save.
Voila! Now you have a Home screen that's uniquely yours.
