the Cloverfield paradox is the third film in the Cloverfield franchise and
the first to be a Netflix original unlike the previous film 10 Cloverfield
Lane the Cloverfield paradox is linked to the same events that take place in
first film we follow the crew of the space station Shepard who were on a
mission to solve the Earth's energy crisis their plan to use new particle
beam technology to harness enough energy to save the planet and you guessed it
things go very wrong and the astronauts find themselves stranded on the space
station while unexplained and very strange things begin to happen first I
have to say I do appreciate how these movies are kept so secret and seemingly
pop up out of the blue but sadly this movie doesn't even come close to being
on the same level as the previous Cloverfield titles for the most part the
Cloverfield films have all had some pretty incredible twist and surprise
moments but this one not so much and despite having a pretty decent cast the
performances are mediocre at best and pretty much failed to deliver the sense
of urgency and tension that this film needs so badly even though the
Cloverfield paradox follows the tradition of suddenly popping up on a
radar it pretty much misses the mark the audiences have come to expect from the
franchise and that's why I guess the Cloverfield paradox a 2
