There are two elements that historically we have always considered essential
for the preservation of food: frost, ice, which keeps it cold,
and in more recent times, the electricity to run refrigerators.
This is definitely about to change, thanks to an innovative Russian designer named
Yuriy Dmitriev, who has invented a biopolymer gel that keeps food fresh in a natural refrigerator
in its ideal state. See how.
The Russian designer Yuriy Dmitriev has designed a refrigerator that keeps food fresh,
without any of the compartments, doors, or motors.
The Bio Robot Refrigerator uses odorless biopolymer gel that is modeled around the food,
creating individual pods that surround and conserve the product.
The gel absorbs the heat and re-emits it in the visible spectrum and this protects it from ultraviolet radiation
that can damage the food.
Products are individually refrigerated and conserved at an optimum temperature
There's more: we can grab the food without having to open any doors or compartments.
The Bio Robot Refrigerator is thin, lightweight, easy to handle, and has a totally new ergonomic design.
It can be positioned vertically and horizontally.
What I really like about this refrigerator by Yuriy Dmitriev is that it performs in a superior way
compared to other refrigerators because the food is also protected from ultraviolet radiation and bacteria,
and it does this in a totally natural and eco-friendly way.
