Erik: What do you enjoy most about window-shopping?
Richard: Um, well I'm a consumer, right? I'm not a very wealthy consumer, but I am a consumer
and I think, I decided to become an entrepreneur because I wanted to make things that people
would consume. So the best way to understand where those products will live is out in the
real world. So I absolutely love window-shopping, it's a guilty pleasure! Even though there's...
it's not that much guilt, I guess it's an embarrassing pleasure. But I love living in
London... I live quite near the center of London, when I'm bored on a weekend I can
just go out and browse the shops and it's really interesting, you get to see where the
trends are emerging, you get to see new products that are coming out and you get to, unlike
shopping on the internet you get to touch them, pick them up, look underneath, see how
it was made, shake it, see if it will break. So as a consumer and as a lover of product,
I spend a lot of time in shops just looking at stuff. It's slightly embarrassing.
Erik: No, it's fantastic. I love it.
