Today on this 2012 Toyota 4Runner, were going to be installing the DeeZee Running Boards,
part number DZ16201-16261. This is a kit thats made up of the running boards, part number
DZ16201 and also the bracket kit that includes all the hardware, part number DZ16261. The
first thing we need to do is take some of our square-headed bolts and drop them into
the channels on the other side of the running boards. We need three and each of these channels,
one about the middle and one towards either end. Well slide them and adjust them later
when we get ready to mount the boards. Well repeat the same procedure for the other board.
Once we have the square headed bolts slid into position on our boards, we can set those
aside and well move underneath the vehicle. Now, underneath the vehicle, this is our drivers
side seal. There are three brackets, one upfront, theres the middle bracket, and finally a bracket
in the rear. When were going to remove the bolts and these brackets, well make sure to
hold on to the bolts cause were going to reuse them to attach our brackets for the new running
boards. Now, were ready to attach our drivers side front bracket.
