We're here with Rob at the Swarovski booth and one of the most innovative products
that I've seen this year is the new Swarovski EL Range Rangefinding Binocular.
The EL Range comes in 8x42 and 10x42, Rob can you
tell us a little bit more about this amazing product?
Yes absolutely, well Steve you know
as hunters we carry a lot of gear into the field
and
when we can trim something down and consolidate a little bit, that makes
us very happy and
it makes us hunt harder, or at least we think we're hunting harder.
But now we've got our rangefinder in our proven EL platform
so
we've got the
ultimate optics in our binos and now we've got our rangefinder. So, we've got one
piece of gear, we've
combined our gear
and this rangefinder right here has
a maximum
ranging distance of
fifteen hundred yards. It's lightweight, it's got the ergonomics of
the EL, a little change here for the electronics fits very
comfortably
just settles right in your hands. Yes, I felt that also and another
shocking attribute of this
binocular is it's price.
It's price, yes.
You'll see this on shelves for about $2869
and also we have ballistic compensation
so not only does it shoot in a straight linear
range, it'll also compensate for up and downhill angles and
it'll give you, there's a setting in the binocular where
it'll give you two readings.
So you can have either line-of-sight or horizontal.
Exactly. A very important feature. Both at the same time if that's the way you want it.
Excellent, excellent.
Excellent thank you very much. You're welcome thank you.
That's the Swarovski EL Range Rangefinding binocular 8x42
and 10x42 versions available.
