Today we are replacing a broken pane of glass. In this instance the glass fit into the frame
and the frame was screwed together. Sometimes you just have a strip you can pop out, but
not in this instance. You want to take out the rubber seal and of course, have two sides
assembled. After you measure it and go get a piece cut at your local hardware store,
you bring it back and you slide this rubber seal onto the glass like so. And then you
can slide the frame back onto the window, or the glass into the frame, I should say.
And then just continue with that, you want to slide it real slowly up. You might get
it all the way up and pop it down, but you want to be real careful not to force it too
much because it will crack the pane itself. And that’s how you would replace a broken
pane in the window frame, and once you have it all put back together, you go back in,
and you slide it back into the window itself.
