So this is a video about quitting bad habits. So I believe you can never replace a habit
unless you find some alternative so when you have a bad habit. You can not just say stop
completely one day because you have nothing to replace and the habit will just reappear.
So my strategy is this it is really really easy and it is clear and I really hope you
have some luck with it. So take smoking. Generally considered a bad habit and just nott good
for you. Then I want you to find a positive source in the bad habit. So why do you do
this? What advantages and stuff like this does it provide? So does it make you feel
relaxed or you may like the social element. Say you like the social element. So that is
why you are doing your bad habit. So you think I like to socialise with people. Everyday
instead of smoking I am going to speak with five strangers and have an interesting chat
with them. Ok equally say watching tv something that is a bad habit. You watch tv because
positive source you like to learn new information. If you like learning new information then
your new habit could be studying French or learning about a new culture and people and
tons of new information. So you see find the positive source in your bad habit then make
a new habit a new goal to replace it so that will make bad habit disappear because you
are still getting that positive feeling that positive force that your old habit gave you
but none of the side affects.
