Happy holidays I'm your tech life expert Stephanie Humphrey and if you are looking for a gift
for that techie in your life start simple everyone's always looking for an upgrade to
their smartphone. LG has you covered with a brand new smartphone, the G2 is the first
smartphone in the US to use Qualcomm snapdragon 800 processor and what that means is you are
going to get a faster phone, you're going to get much higher quality graphics, you're
going to get awesome crystal clear photos with a 13 megapixel camera to go around and
you are going to be able to view it all on a 5.2 inch high def screen and you get that
the rear key is going to keep you covered on selfies all holiday season. It operates
the camera and controls the volume and the power. You also get some great features packed
inside the phone as well the slide aside technology lets you navigate between apps with just one
swipe of the finger so no more double tapping to manage around your apps a little cumbersome.
Slide aside has you covered and even answering the phone is easier with the G2 because the
answer me technology lets you just pick the phone up. The phone rings you put it to your
ear and you start talking right away, no more swiping, no more pin code everything is easy
breezy, and this is really going to appeal to that mobile multitasker in your life. If
you have someone that has their phone always in their hand the G2 is going to be a good
place to start but then we move to tablets. Tablets are going to be huge this year and
LG has you covered there as well. The Gpad fully integratable with the G2 smartphone
running full android on the device so you get the Google play store and all those wonder
apps you know and love. 8.3 inches across on the screen, weighs less than a pound. So
fully portable and fully integratable with your other LG devices a great place to go
for that person that's a little bit hard to please on your list. Tablets are for everyone
and gaming devices are going to be super popular this season as well. Microsoft and Sony both
releasing new consoles last month in November the Xbox One and the Playstation 4 both are
promising to appeal to that hardcore gamer in your life so they've done a complete redesign
of their controllers they also stepped their graphics way up so that gamer in your life
is going to love either one of these devices just keep in mind Xbox One a little more expensive
but you do get some extra features in that and if you are on a budget consider streaming
internet television. The Roku 3 is a device you connect to your TV and it picks up your
Wifi signal and all of that great internet content that you use your laptop or tablet
for you can now view on that big beautiful 50 inch television so if you have a Netflix
account if you watch Hulu television shows, Pandora, different sports programs, now you
get to see them on in full HD color on your television instead of on your tablet and it
all happens for under 100 bucks so great idea for someone on a budget for the techie in
your life. Lots of stuff here but you can always find more on my blog amatteroflifeortech.com
