ERIC: The story of the music video is just this fun summer
song, "Take Me Home." We're here at the lake.
We had a whole bunch of extras jump in.
We have this inner tube flying off this hill.
It's a lot of fun when people watch this.
We want them to make them smile.
And I think it comes off that the choreography
is light and fun.
But at the same time, it ties Midnight Red, and who are,
into this summer vibe.
JOEY: The bugs are crazy.
The bugs are no joke.
Ants, roaches, dead fish.
THOMAS: The bugs are wild.
The ladies are wild.
ERIC: Water spiders.
JOEY: Water spiders.
Dogs.
THOMAS: The ripping and the tearing.

ANTHONY: Take me home has a specific feel to it.
I think the vibe of the song, and that's kind of what we
tried to portray in the music video.
As well as the dance moves, we want you to be able to, at
home, do it with us.
THOMAS: And the video is kind of a clean feel as well, just,
like, fresh, and clean, and that choreo, you know. "Take
Me Home" choreo has that feel.
ERIC: Fresh, hip, and fun.
JOEY: Yeah.
THOMAS: But phresh with a P-H.
COLTON: Only P-H.

ANTHONY: So when we are prepping for a music video, as
opposed to a live performance, I mean, we're going just as
*** stage as we are in the video.
But we definitely focus a little bit more on the
intricate parts of the dance, so in the video you can see
how clean and together we look as a group.
THOMAS: But on top of that, I don't even think that there
are things you can prep for, because during this dance
scene, where, you know, you think everything is cool.
You want to get the shot how you look on the camera.
And then you go, and we're dancing in sand
with different levels.
And every spin, you're like sinking in.
So there are certain things can't prep for.
And you just have to roll with the punches.
Lindsey, our choreographer, taught us something.
It's a thing called no matter what.
So when we're performing, there's this mental thought we
have that, no matter what, we have to make this move happen.
So whether we're in the sand, we're on carpet, we're on a
stage this small, we're going to make it happen somehow.

LINDSEY B: What's up, y'all.
I'm Lindsey B. I'm one of the choreographers, along with
Craig Holleman, for Midnight Red's new single "Take Me
Home." The overall vision for "Take Me Home" was basically
just to capture the lyrics and the
musicality through movement.
We definitely feel like this is a summer anthem, so we just
wanted it to have a lot of energy.
The boys are really gifted at dancing, so, fortunately,
Craig and I can give them a lot of vocabulary and really
push the bounds with their performance and their
choreography.
We worked on this song over a period of two days.
They did great.
They pick up fast.
And we're very focused when we go in.
We just have a really good working chemistry with them.
We respect them.
They respect us.
We all come in.
We're focused.
We work hard.
So we're able to get a lot done, usually, in a short
period of time.
We're lucky to have such a great canvas to work with.
And the boys killed it tonight.
Yeah, they just slayed the choreo.
So we're proud.

COLTON: This video is different than "Hell Yeah" in
the sense that there's a calmness
between us in the group.
We're having a lot of fun and everything, but "Hell Yeah"
was intended to be very intense and in your face, a
lot of drive to it.
In this one, you can sit back.
We're trying to do some choreography that allows you
to just sit there and watch us, rather than--
JOEY: Easy on the eyes.
COLTON: Whoa, we're trying to dance.
It's easy on the eyes.
That's right.
THOMAS: A lot less clothes, too.
ANTHONY: Yeah.
COLTON: Yeah.
ERIC: Yeah.
THOMAS: Right, it's such a big difference.
ANTHONY: The choreography is still intricate and just as
hard as "Hell Yeah." But it kind of sits in hte pocket a
little more.
And you kind of get to chill with it, which is cool.
ERIC: Coming off that, it's our second music video, so
we're just kind of laid back.
COLTON: Whoo.
ANTHONY: Used to it.
ERIC: We've got one under our belt.
Now we know a little bit what not to with our faces.
ANTHONY: Hey, what's up guys.
ALL: It's Midnight Red.
ANTHONY: We just wrapped our video for "Take Me Home."
COLTON: "Take Me Home!"
ANTHONY: It went really well.
We hope you enjoy it.
And hope to see you soon on tour.
COLTON: Pop Explosion, baby.
