So today we're taking a look at just B flat major and we're just taking a look at melody
lines and our right hand. We've done chords in other segments and you can go through and
search for those chords but right now we're focusing on melody lines mainly in the right
hand. We're going to go through and show you a B flat major scale and show you how we read
in pattern like this. All this looks very confusing right now but we're going to read
it in B flat major and you'll see how we're just reading a pattern here, one, five, six,
five, six, five, we'll get into that as we go along. We're going to show you this pattern
and then we're going to run it through a couple of different keys and then we're going to
go and play as it would play in an actual fake book tune where we have chords at the
top along with different melody lines underneath. We'll go through and we'll have some fun and
we'll explain how to have all these different chords that come up and we'll reference so
you can look up the chords and then play the line with a melody line as we go through and
play our simple tune in B flat major.
