Last saturday, cast & crew of "klamm" traveled to Bruchmühlbach-Miesau.
For a day of shooting practice and script reading. -Its not as easy as in the movies.
You´re not shooting like this and nothing is happening.
I think it was a pretty interesting day for the actors and crew members.
Most of the people didn´t know each other at that point.
Of course, we as producers and directors met all the actors, but because some of the actors
do not have scenes together, this was a great opportunity to sit down, talk about the project,
and do something as cool as shooting practice.
Okay.
Richard Doerr instructed us that day and created a training for the actors.
In which they could learn how to handle a weapon and experience the feeling of firing it.
Especially to create a background for the characters, that are supposed to have experience with guns.
Most of the actors have not fired a weapon yet. They know it from Hollywood, that you shoot without recoil.
They experienced first hand how it really is, and now they can integrate it into their performance.
Principal photography starts in a week. We are happy, that we could organize a day like this,
so close to the beginning of the shoot. So everybody could get excited for the project.
Because most of them don´t have scenes together. And to share a day like this was a great experience.
For every crew member, actor and everybody involved in "klamm".
It was a great day, and I hope we can repeat it.
