My name is John Dean with the DeanSafe.com.
If you're a gun safe owner there is a common thread that seems to be going through,
moisture is a problem particularly in some states, in some parts of the country, moisture is
a problem inside your gun safes, it will corrode your guns.
Not good.
There's several products you can use.
DriRod, I just made a little
video on this, if you check for Dri-Rod on our site. But in this video I want to introduce you to two other
products,
both of them are made by EvaDry, or EvaDry
This is the E333 and the larger 500. Now what these do is,
is these just
suck up the moisture
You throw them inside your safe
and they just sit there and they work. Now if you think the little silicon bags work,
I got a bridge for you.
They're okay but you got to take 'em out once they fill up and you gotta cook them for forty eight
hours at two hundred degrees.
Not practical.
These guys however
will let you know when they're need to be recharged. The little beads inside here.
Let me open one up.
The little beads inside go from blue to kind of a pink color,
and that allows you to, let me open this thing up all the way. That says, hey, it's time to recharge me. And the way to recharge
this product,
is you flip out a little plug in the back,
you take it out of your safe
you plug this into the wall, like in the garage, and this heats up and it dissipates the moisture,
so it refreshes itself.
And it can do that hundreds, and hundreds, and hundreds of times.
Now how often you have to recharge it? It depends on the environment that it's in. If you live
in a swamp, a lot.
If you live in
Vegas, probably not so much
but these are wonderful little products very reasonably priced,
and it can save you a fortune on your rifles If you want to protect your rifles this is
a great way to do it. Thank you very much
