This important routine makes continuous individual tracking and control of all COVAP meat products possible.
Meat products
Calf classification centre
At the classification centre, COVAP’s beef quality assurance programme guarantees its production process at all times
following the ISO-91 standard.
For export, COVAP beef is also certified by the British Retail Consortium and the International Food System.
Lamb classification centre
In lamb production, the farmer delivers the lamb at the classification centre when it has grown to a weight of 18
to 22 kilos, where it continues to grow to final weight under controlled feeding and constant health surveillance.
