argentine tango for the newer dancers
so the first
piece that we did
we did in Carpa when you're starting out
a practice hold is nice. So we have each other by the elbows. There's a
little bit of tone through the arms so that we can affect our partner's
balance I'll move in a little closer, It makes the Lead better. Nice with the turnout (Nicole)
so we're starting with the gentleman's right foot the lady's left so guys
we're gonna shift a little bit to our left, and here we go. Position one, two
three, four, five
six
seven
and eight. So this prevents us from stepping on each other's toes, or
knocking each other off balance while we're still learning.
We'll do this again double arm hold.
Little shift and One, two, three, four, five
six
seven
and eight
See if I can move this (microphone)
you can also put the lady's hand on your chest.
and we have
One, two
Three, four, five
six
seven and position eight. Again
one
three, four
five
six
seven
and eight. So here she's really
following the movement of my chest. I'm really not using the arms at all
which is a good thing to get used to in the Tango
because we dance through the ribcage, and less
through the arms.
