Hello, welcome.
My name is Mireille Mettes
and I am a holistic therapist in the Netherlands, Europe.
I developed the MIR-Method in 2009
and in this video I would like to teach you about addictions
and how you can, slowly but surely make addictions go away.
It is very easy to do. It just takes some time.
The most important thing for getting rid of addictions is
make your self love grow.
So, the more love you feel for yourself
the better you can let go of the addictions.
There are 4 elements that are helping you,
when you do the MIR-Method,
that make the additions go away.
The first one is: you have to acknowledge for yourself
that you are addicted.
You are not an addict, but you are addicted. It is a habit
and you can let go of a habit.
Actually, you have the choice every day over and over
to go this way or to go that way.
To choose for your addiction, which is a closed door,
or choose your life's path.
It is your choice and you can do it over and over again
every single day.
You can choose every time which way you want to go.
But first acknowledge that you are addicted. Yes, I'm addicted to smoking.
Yes I am addicted to shopping.
Yes, I'm addicted to watching television. Whatever.
That's the first one.
You do this by stroking and you stroke: 'Smoking addiction' (3x)
So what you then do is, you give yourself love.
By stroking, you give yourself love.
You make your subconsious become relaxed.
You say 'Smoking addiction' which means you acknowledge for yourself
that you are addicted to smoking and you make your body feel relaxed about it.
Don't make such a fuss about it.
It is okay.
And meanwhile you can work on it that it is no longer necessary for you
to have the addiction.
Okay, so the first step is:
Stroke and say 3 times: 'Smoking addiction'. (3x)
After that you do all 9 steps,
like it is taught to you in the instruction video (MIR-Method).
That is all.
Now, what happens when you do that?
You acknowledge for yourself that you are addicted.
And the second step is the chemicals in your brain that make you stay addicted
they will be detoxed.
That means that the urge, the craving you have to do it again,
will go away.
So that means that you have a fair chance to 'step over' the addiction.
When the chemicals are here, you cannot easily release the addiction.
It will always stay in your system.
So the second thing is, by using the MIR-Method, you will detox the chemicals in your brain.
The third step is, of course, the Self Love.
In step 3 when you detach father, detach mother,
there is a very strong element of guilt.
Guilty towards your father. Guilty towards your mother.
But also towards other men and women.
That you are somehow feeling guilty towards.
Maybe you feel guilty that you're still smoking in front of your kids.
Stop feeling guilty!
Stop doing that.
You are not guilty.
Okay? Quilty is something that is put onto you by the society.
Guilt is not a true feeling, just let go of it.
Step 3 will help you do that and also step 4, the meridians.
In the meridians we have one meridian, the 'Large Intestant' meridian
and that one is especially helpful with releasing guilt.
Guilty feelings are absolutely not useful. Just make them go away.
The fourth element is that you will be free.
You will be stronger inside and you will be stronger
to stand up against a group. So when you are in an addiction,
that is amongst the whole group, for example alcohol drinkers,
maybe you are in a group who finds it completely normal to drink every night
or very often. Then you will start to feel selfesteem, the love for yourself.
And you will start to feel: I don't need this alcohol.
I don't need this group pressure.
I'm going to decide for my own health and for my own life.
You have a choice.
So which path are you going to take?
Now, this getting rid of the group pressure
will be done by the MIR-Method.
So it's a really and smooth path.
Take your time for it and it will be released.
= Big sigh =
Okay, those are the four elements in getting rid of an addiction.
Final thing I want to tell you is that you just take your time.
You took time to build up the addiction
and it's going to take time to build it of again, to take it away.
I always advise to do the MIR-Method not 4 weeks, but 4 months.
So just keep doing the MIR-Method for 4 months, twice a day.
Slowly but surely the addiction will leave your body, will leave your whole system,
and will actually leave your whole life.
Do not force yourself to stop the addiction, but be gentle for yourself.
Don't punish yourself. Be gentle for yourself.
Slowly but surely the deep layers, the real root causes, why you are addicted
they will vanish, will subside.
It will be really easy for you to just let the addiction
disappear out of your life.
Okay, just give it a try.
We have several people that have gone before you.
They could do it. And so can you.
Good luck and I wish you all the best.
